In March last year, Ubisoft brought us another new IP set in New York, which was taken by a deadly virus. The Division then picked up various grades, and as it is custom – opinions are still divided about whether it is worth spending time and money on this video game. Regardless of whether you like it or not, the director of the development team that has pulled us into another world that has been affected by an epidemic recently indirectly said that they might already be preparing a sequel.

“I think it’s a wonderful, wonderful brand that has so many potential stories in it. There are a lot of things that we didn’t do in The Division 1 that are interesting to look at for that brand,” said the director of Massive Entertainment, David Polfeldt. Additionally, he said he definitely thinks “there is lots of space for continuation” beyond merely keeping The Division online, pointing out that he cannot speak too much about it at this point.

Of course, his commentary, pointing out that last year’s The Division is just the first in line, can only come from his desire to re-establish and create a different world than the one he presented to us nearly two years ago.
