Ubisoft finally revealed when we are going “back to the school” to study the history of the Ancient Egyptian civilization, but also when we would make our hidden blade bloody in new missions of the upcoming expansions.

The interest in the history of old-European civilization is growing more and more year after year, and the phenomenon of Egypt has gained interest of the renowned French publishing house Ubisoft. The last part of the Assassin’s Creed franchise is set in the time of Ancient Egypt, but their passion is most evident in an exception called Discovery Tour.

Discovery Tour was announced last year as a virtual lecture on the history of Old-European civilization far from the story of the founding of the Assassin’s Order. Although our co-existence with Bayek has showed what the life of the Ancient Egyptians looked like at the end of the Ptolomeic dynasty in many different ways, Ubisoft, with its “open world museum”, wants to greatly enhance our knowledge of the millennial civilization, which has become the main reference point for the future nations.

The Discovery Tour comes as a free update to anyone who owns Assassin’s Creed Origins on PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, while others can download it as a stand-alone PC download at a cost of $20.

Additionally, Ubisoft has announced that the first DLC called The Hidden Ones will take us to the area occupied by the Romans. The battles on a new piece of land will be lead on the 23rd of January, and it’s time to get up to level 45 to be ready for mythological stories waiting for us in another DLC. 6th of March we will have to travel to Thebes and explore the ancient curse that is bothering the region in a new expansion – the Curse of the Pharaoh. Considering it is supernatural forces we are talking about here, fearless Bayek will have to train his body and spirit up to level 55.

It should be noted that both DLCs are available to those who have a season pass, others will have to spend around $10 on the first one, while the second DLC will cost about $20.
