EA Sports has revealed a small add-on for its Fifa 18 that is not so important that it would be a ringtone, but fans of the game could be very useful and potentially save some time. The so-called “Dynamic Quick Subs” novelty will allow players to determine which football substitutes they are planning to make before the game (or halfway) and then during the match breaks they can activate the substitution by holding the R2 / RT button after which the reminder that will be replaced by the button will pop up X / A. Of course, if those replacements are not activated, they will remain unused.

This is a nice option because it will allow players to make changes without pausing the game. This also gives you an extra strategic element of the game because you will not know in advance when your opponent will make a change while you can already assume that stopping the game is likely to mean that another player plans to refresh the team.
