It seems that the team from Capcom issues upcoming Resident Evil titles approached quite seriously so that all those who had the opportunity to play one of the available demo version of the game attest to the quality and good atmosphere.

The general consensus is that Resident Evil 7 will probably be a good game which, despite the new perspective and approach to gameplay, should return to the series roots.

As the excitement around this title is still growing, it is useful to conclude not that the Resident Evil 7 will sell well, but the question that now arises is: how well?

Marketing Director European Division Capcom, Antoine Molanta, said that expectations are extremely high: “For Capcom, Resident Evil 7 is currently the largest commercial title that will be released on the new consoles.”

Molanta added that the amount of pre-order is rather impressive. What Capcom hopes is that Resident Evil 7 will sell four million copies on the first day of release and they have also allegedly marketing signs are capable for that kind of projection, or even exceed original expectations

Will Capcom be able to fulfill their goals for Resident Evil 7 or will they fail ours and theirs expectations is about to be seen, but when there is smoke there is also fire. Do you like the path that this ancient series are going or do you think that changing to the first person perspective is too great departure from the thing that makes old titles a classics?
