Dark Souls
fans, you don’t need this review. Feel free to interrupt the reading and get a game. Why? In short, because it’s everything you ever wanted from Dark Souls game. How am I supposed to know what you want? Okay doubting Thomas, you may read the text to the end, I will not be angry.

Dark Souls III is based on strict and precise mechanics that are difficult to improve without thereby losing one of the main features. It is difficult also to come up with some new mechanics that would spread the game without differs from what the series stands. For instance, if you insert a primitive firearms, it would be too fast and too simple a solution remotely, if slown down, it would be boring and useless.

Bloodborne has slightly broken stagnant dynamics by ejecting shields, restoring health shocks and similar ideas, which demanded a more aggressive approach. Return-paced Dark Souls after something like that some sounds like a step backwards, or triplet shows that may not be. Instead of radical innovations, Dark Souls 3 mixes all the best parts of the previous games and use them to the best possible ways.

I was first skeptical about some ideas before it was published. Hub world that they had Demon’s Souls and Bloodborne did not thrill me, I’d rather level-up like in first sequel at every fire and wouldn’t have to teleport to a separate location every now and then. And now, after two crossing, Dark Souls 3 cannot be imagined without hub World.

It is well designed, plays an important role in the story as a location and as a meeting place for various characters, and adds some sort of strategy – will you come back and cash your soul or will you try to push just before the next fire and risk losing everything in an unfamiliar wilderness? Sounds corny I know, but it’s one of the things that you have to take into account. Souls that furate on it thus receive the true value, do not take them for granted. Things are clear, but not simple, the fight is faster and more complicated, but not unfair. After a few battles I stood breathless with a controller in my hands without noticing when I got up off the couch, a big hit.

Me, as a veteran, took 32 hours to completely finish the game, and I see that the newcomers, respectively enthusiastic about the game, the first move spent an average of over 60. That’s a lot of fun for a game, especially when you consider that after my 32 hours immediately followed by the second crossing of another 35 hours, waiting for me New Game + on both, but I already have a couple of build in my head with which I cannot wait to start anew. Therefore, fans of the series, the game can be installed in the background while you read this review. And to the new players, this end of series can be a bit topsy-turvy way to a perfect introduction to the beauty of Dark Souls.
