assassins creed

Ubisoft said that they reviewed Assassin’s Creed franchise and therefore are taking a break, which means that this year we will not see a new sequel to AC.

Earlier this year, rumores started to come out that the Assassin’s Creed series in 2016 could lose the new sequel. It is now officially confirmed, but Ubisoft has said that their year break serve to re-examine the foundations of the entire franchise and to evolve the mechanics of gameplay that draws since 2007.

This is in line with previous suggestions that the next AC game will be a return to the past, or in ancient Egypt. Ever since the series started, only the AC 4: Black Flag chronological made a “step back”. However, for now it is officially confirmed only a year break – not the location for the next game in the series.

However, instead of Assassin’s Creed this year we may see Watch Dogs 2, the same is in the financial reports that Ubisoft announced will be released by the end of the first quarter 2017, it is likely that the lack of Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed will be replaced by its second franchise.
