Unnamed Ubisoft developer admitted that the Division on PC graphics should not have too much difference from the console version because it would not be fair.

The upcoming Ubisoft team shooter The Division two years ago seemed unreal good. Two months before and still looks good, but the title of the unreal graphics accomplishment is  gone, even in the PC version, which would take precedence over the graphic versions for PS4 and XBO. However, this advantage has to have limits, according to one developer at Ubisoft.

UPDATE NEWS:

Ubisoft, meanwhile, announced on this statement, telling that it is not true that the PC version of The Division graphics suffer due to the console. As they say, the PC version of the game is fundamentally developed separately and it is based on that they are convinced that PC players will be satisfied according to the feedback of participants of beta testing.

Commenting The Division YouTube Channel Team Epiphany, unnamed Ubisoft developer admitted that the console still affected the appearance of the PC version, although the PC version developed separately. You can hear developers comment from the thirteen minute video.

“It is definitely a factor. But the good thing about The Division is that we have always considered a separate PC platform. I’ve worked on projects where the PC versions were only those ports from console and have passed their limits, but we were always aware that we will have a separate game on the PC, so that power of consoles are not much retained. Of course that we must keep on par with consoles as it would somehow unfair to keep PC version too far from those of the console. “- Said the developer.
Yes, The Division on the PC may look nicer than Ubisoft imagined, modders with a little help of SweetFx quickly proved it.
