FIFA and PES are like you and your neighbor with whom you grew up. When you do something wrong, then your mother freaks out because John is a nice guy, but when John threw a firecracker in the mailbox, then your mother suddenly is not interested in your neighbor’s kids, just in you.

I openly called FIFA 16 the worst Fifa so far and still stand by that. Significant was the time when I first played the PES 2017 and thought that Fifa actually was not that bad. I’ll be honest, the new PES at first looks like a semi-product in an early beta stage, if I’m going to be honest, we started charging for reviews, and now you owe me money. Joke aside, the first hour getting acquainted with the game, it was a lot of ups and downs, but not all at that cost.

The menus are confusingly divided and has a lot of buffering, and the soundtrack consists of only ten top songs of the year which means that you are tired before you even buy the game. I’m not talking about navigation menus without reason, because if you play Master League or MyClub you will spend a lot of your valuable time in them.

I intend to avoid comparisons in this review and I write this in the same manner, but there is a competitive franchise, which equivalent models are done better: more intuitive, more comprehensive, easier, more interesting and more competitive, I’m just saying. Neither had won me and kept me, so I devoted to most ordinary matches and the question is how long I can keep this playing football without a broader context.

MyClub is complicated, just to complicated, just not to be the same as the competition, as it would ever be a bad thing. Still I suffered all the conceptual problems if MyClub at all functioned properly. Related TEC servers were cracking on average after every other game and some times it simply would not be able to access – nice. Master League on the other hand is simply not interesting to unlicensed teams and that’s its biggest problem. Like the rest of the game or bad first lover was also rude and awkward, but please let’s not pretend that this “little things” with licenses is not a big deal.

PES 2017 is not a tactical revolutionary, but is designed so that the player dedicate tactics and it is felt more in agreement team before the game.

The largest witness is that if you are one of those who are just trying to run across the field, the animation will not be able to follow and your players, instead as athletes look as if for the first time seeing the ball and are not sure whether to eat it. PES is simply not so thoughtful and it is perhaps the biggest plus.

Lovers of PES therefore are waiting for another fun and tense football game, but they do not yet know it’s magic, let them remember that the competition offers something far more accessible and meaningful.
