l.a. noire

In 2011 Rockstar Games teamed up with Team Bondi and presented a neo-noir detective action adventure called L.A. Noire to us. The game story is set in Los Angeles during the forties of the 20th century, and the player assumes the role of Cole Phelps and follows his rise from an uniformed cop to a famous detective.

The greatest charm of L.A. Noire has emerged from the then-revolutionary new animation technology – MotionScan – which captured the amazing details of the actors’ facial expression. Consequently, Rockstar’s title offered us an unprecedented interactive experience as we had complete freedom in looking for clues to chase the suspects and we questioned the witnesses closely following their facial expressions behind which the true truth was laying.

Since it is one of the best detective games and that in recent years we got more and more remastered versions. In the end of 2017, L.A. Noire was particularly improved for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Furthermore, its release for the Nintendo Switch console has movement controls and touchscreen controls, and a special detective collection is made for virtual reality only.

Of course, players have already found ways to take advantage of all the features of the VR version, and to see how much fun you can have with it, watch the video below.
